FHS Scholarship Information
The Guidance Office has a scholarship opportunity for current 11th graders presented by the
Discover Scholarship Program. Students can use this scholarship to attend any post secondary
education or training program. Scholarship amounts are up to $30,000. Interested 11th
graders should see your Guidance Counselor for more details on applying.
The Guidance Department has information about the Annual Historically Black College Fair Day
which is scheduled for this Saturday, December 6th at the Henderson Convention Center.
Many colleges/universities from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will be available
and on hand to assist students in learning about and applying to their college. To learn more
about attending this opportunity, please see your Guidance Counselor before Friday December
5th.
