Elementary School will follow the Franklin County Schools Code of
Conduct. Student and staff safety are our focus, along with
instruction and any behavior that disrupts the learning environment will
have consequences. Consequences may be a parent conference, time
out, or suspension.
Franklinton Elementary School is now a Positive Behavioral Support School (PBS). PBS uses proactive measures and school-wide expectations to help students achieve academic success in school. Positive Behavioral Support is a school-wide discipline plan that has been established which focuses on students making good choices by being responsible for their own behavior. By making these decisions, students learn that there are rewards and consequences for their actions. These expectations are developed, implemented and monitored by all staff members working in the school. By implementing these expectations school wide it helps reduce the frequency of students who engage in problem behavior. It is our hope that this consistent school-wide plan will assist students and teachers in making our environment more nurturing, safe, and conductive to learning.
